Describing Neelam Organic Cotton Saree:
The cotton we use is called Kala cotton or Kala kapas because it is organically and locally grown. “Kala” is the word to refer “local” for Indian cotton. As a result, this is an eco-friendly and sustainable product. Kala cotton grows in drought-prone areas of India. Thus, making it one of the most sustainable cotton species. All the materials used in making this product are biodegradable. These biodegradable materials includes the labels, tags, buttons, and packaging.
This product is made by handloom master artisan from Kutchh, Mr. Mukesh Vankar.
The items we sell and promote are artisanal products and we support fair trade by giving fair wages to the artisans. In addition, we dye fabrics naturally using vegetable dyes. Further, all the products are free from any kind of cruelty, supporting veganism. On the other side, this vegan clothing is completely biodegradable, making it carbon-neutral. Meanwhile we ensure sustainable making of our products right from growing the raw material seeds to its last stitch. Not only does our company do use plastic-free zero-waste packaging to wrap our products but also use plant-based glue tapes. Plant-based glue tapes are super-eco friendly. We are proud to support “Shop Conscious and Sustainable fashion only.”
